a fresh new look

I officially LOVE my room. It makes me so happy to put my little lights on and catch up on blogs at night or read. You can check out this post to see what my vision was. Here is the first step completed!

For this DIY headboard, I just hung a metal rod, and then draped some lights underneath a shear curtain. SO easy peasy, and affordable too! It looks fantastic and cozy when the room is dark and the lights are on. But I thought it looked a little funny on it's own, so I added these little vintage stars that my mamma got from a garage sale ages ago.

I am very happy with the result so far! More to come soon!
