a little awkward a little awesome

that ^...that was my lunch. a carmel latte and a kindergarten snack. awkward?

I haven't done Awkward and Awesome Thursday, inspired by my favorite blog, in a while, but even though i am a bit late, I am putting in an entry for it right now! (still thursday to me!)

this week was awkward when:

+ my parasitology professor teaching us about tapeworms, how if you we have to "pass" a tapeworm, we shouldn't be shocked when we look in the toilet. and that we "should never flush it"..."BRING IT TO ME! it will make a wonderful specimen slide!". i tend to be a pretty open person, but sorry, no i will not bring you my wormy poop. EVER.

+ how my bike chains are worn and they squeak really loud. and i am nervous i wake up the neighbors when i bike to class because it sounds like a screaming bunny riding down the street

+ when i put really hot tea in my to-go mug and it screams at me too...it doesn't do that with coffee...my tea must just be way too hot. but it usually screams, right up into my first class. it's a really weird thing to hear in a lecture hall...

+ my professor emailed classes saying that the class policy stated no computers...i've been using mine for a month...oops.

+ i realized my belly button was dirty. that's just unfortunate.

this week was awesome when:

+ i was commissioned to make some wedding invites for a wonderful young woman. yay! i'm beyond excited!

+ my little sister was voted to be captain of her cross country team next year. YAHOO! i'm so proud...and she's following in my footsteps:) the difference is, she can actually run (HA! i was a joke...)

+ decorating for christmas--our living room looks like a wrapped, glowing christmas gift. it's beautiful!

+ i ordered Insanity from amazon(a real live, non-burned copy)! will be starting the 60 day challenge ASAP! can't wait;)

+ I GRADUATE IN 43 DAYS!!!
