roller coastin'

For this day, I surprised e and took him to an amusement park. We thrived there together. We loved the same rides. We wanted to go again and again and again and again. It was awesome! The few times I have been, I always get stuck with the people that don't really like roller coasters that much, so it was super refreshing to go with someone that I was on the same level with.

For our first ride, we opted for the scariest. Just to get our blood pumpin, duh. We practically ran to the Power Tower. There are 2 towers that drop fast, and 1 that rockets up fast. The latter is tamer, but the line was super short so we thought we would try it. We got on in about 5 minutes, went up about 10 feet, waited 5 minutes, they told us the ride was broken and we had to leave. We were bummed, but hey it was only our first try. We didn't care. But then, we thought they were leading us to the exit, but no, they were leading us next door into one of the drop fast towers that had a huge waiting line! Holla! They were all, "so sorry for the wait", and we were all "yeah that 10 minute wait just to skip ahead a bazillion people in line was really painful". Not.
Awesome way to start the day.

A few rides later there was a delay on the super awesome coaster that goes upside down right as we got in line, so everyone started ditching the line. Pretty soon there was only like 1/4 the original amount of people in line. So we risked it and stayed in line. BOOM. It was running again.

Small joys in life people, small joys.
:)
{A little rant: I know snoopy is a pretty cool guy. but replacing Berenstain Bear Land with Snoopy Land, is a downgrade in my opinion. there was a life size model of the tree house. COME ON PEOPLE. it was like my dream come true...now it's gone}

We also were really good at planning faces to make on the roller coasters when they take your photo. We photo-bombed one couples photo with our final {and best in my opinion} face, and had to explain to them that don't worry, we tried to look that ugly. They thought it was hilarious.

And awesome day, and one we will have to repeat sometime in our lives!
Smile on, friends!
