a "formal" affair

This weekend, was bomb-diggity {as they say}. As my paper chain countdown at work gets shorter and shorter, I am really starting to gain nervousness about leaving this city I love. And the people I love. I know it's not goodbye forever, but it doesn't make it less powerful. I have really called this place home for the last 5 years.

BUT! This weekend was a great celebration of that fact! Friday night I spent with one of my besties who was visiting before she left town, and saturday I was lucky enough to still be able to attend the frisbee formal as an alumni. OH golly it was nice to be a part of.

It was also Cinco de Mayo. YAHOO!
My "date" made me a corsage out of real flowers...SCORE!

A great night with great friends, and now back to work tomorrow, blah.

Some recent things:
---I love handwriting...so when mail comes in at work with cool handwriting, sometimes I want to take it home and copy it. but that's illegal.
---elderly men have the best penmanship. at what point did it become OK for guys to have such crappy handwriting? yuck, makes me sad.
---i started listening to the Bob and Tom radio show at work...a bunch of middle aged men making dirty jokes and talking about random stuff...it's pretty great

happy sunday!
smile on, friends!
