nostalgia through rubber tubes

This past weekend we had the awesome privilage of going to a tubing hill for a birthday celebration. It was such a blast! At first we all went on our own, and eventually started making formations using all of us connected by boots and mittens. There was about ten of us and we would make circles and lines and V's. At one point, we made a line, and another group of people joined on. I ended up on the end of the line, going last. As the progression of movement started down the hill, my understanding of physics slowly started to kick in, and all of a sudden we were being whipped so incredible hard and fast, so exhilirating! Especially for someone that secretly is afraid of tubing ha! It was a hoot. We met at Lyles in Uptown afterwards, but dumdum Samara forgot her wallet so we couldn't get in without an idea. So we went back home and watch the new Netflix show we are obsessed with, Broadchurch. I can't stop thinking about it - all day! It's super good. Other exciting adventures of the weekend including seeing my BFF Katie, a lot of cooking, a visit to Trader Joes (consistently amazed by that store, all 4 times I have been), a non-superbowl party with John, and no editing (bad Samara). Can't wait for the next one...oh life.
