I feel like every day I put "blog post" on my to do list, and it just didn't get done. So here's a combination of my last two weekends! Summer has started slow, but is going to be picking up speed from here on out.
Two weekends ago, I hurried over to my mom's place after work, with SO much anticipation. I look forward to going there every minute! This round wasn't the most dreamy, since my allergies completely kicked my ass. I was fine until I helped mom garden. I think i'm exactly allergic to the grass that had just bloomed in their field. I hadn't been that bad in a long time. My eyes were constantly streaming, along with my nose, and the sneezes were full force. The part that is hard to describe to people about allergies is, you know that feeling when you're about to sneeze, and it's awful but rewarding since sneezing feels so good afterwords? I pretty much feel that awful on the edge part all the time...and then every once and awhile recieve the reward of the actual sneeze. It's a huge bummer. Mostly I was just embarssed that had to be such a baby all weekend. When J came to join us for Saturday, I was so bad that I worse a face mask and sunglasses to go play with the horses, and I feel asleep way too early while everyone else was eating pizza on the porch.
But despite this all, I'm so thankful for weekends like this!
This past weekend J's mom was married in his childhood backyard, and it was fantastic! Simple and sweet and so effortless. The words were all perfect. Not as pefect as this photo below, am I right?!?!?!
Aren't the paper cranes adorable? And that last photo is newman, who matched the bride of course:)
