richmond, VA

October 15th, 2016 J's BFF got married in Richmond, VA! We were lucky enough to fly down for it and I was able to film it for them! It was seriously such a blast. Despite the painful dancing since I still had a broken tailbone, it was seriously one of the best weddings I have ever been to to date. The venue was insane, the couple was SO perfect, the crowd was incredible. It was a nuts wedding for real.

These first few photos are not of VA, but we slowly flew perfectly over NYC and I just thought the view was too cool not to document!
Tredegar was the actual venue for the wedding and it was SO neat!
The after party! These people know how to party HARD. I ditched shortly after we got there due to my tailbone and aching feet from filming!
Before the grooms dinner on Friday night, we got to walk around and explore the campus area of Richmond with all the cool old houses that are beautiful. One of my favorite parts about this city are the old brick houses that clearly have been painted year after year with unique beautiful colors.
One morning I walked by myself to get coffee. And as much traveling as I do, I still am humbled time and again at how you have to be careful everywhere you go. Downtown Richmond quickly went to nice and residential to sketchy and I was not comfortable walking alone after a few blocks towards this coffee shop. So be careful everyone and be smart, like I was not :)
We also got to stay at a beautiful historic hotel that had some awesome architecture.
Though J was in the wedding party, his friends let me tag along with them to brunch before my filming duties started.
Thank you guys for an awesome weekend and celebration!
Can't wait to come visit you in DC as a married couple!

Here's the video I made for Hannah and Brendan too!
