As I mentioned in my last post, my walls are very drab. I very precious off-white color that probably just sits in the basement of the rental company somewhere, being re-painted every few years. The color does accent the stained blue/gray carpet (maybe just blue when it was new baby carpet...I can't imagine what happened...). Which also ate my vacuum cleaner the other day...and it started smoking. On another note, the paint also peals off the walls when its hot. So now all the things I hung on my wall before the mid-west heat wave a few weeks ago, are now on the floor, with weird-looking melted wall holes in their place.
I know it sounds like I'm complaining a lot. But i'm really not that bitter. I find great humor in these kinds of life events:)
SO to try and make up for the walls, I had this idea to fill one of the wall spaces. I took some of the cardboard boxes from our move in in June and got to work! I traced a sketch of a tree branch, cut around it with an exacto knife and then painted it black!
I realize that it's one of those questionable projects...borderline tacky. But from far away it looks like of cool! hehe:)
