Byebye - leaving NYC

image
Yesterday afternoon I had to say goodbye to E's little place. I had to say goodbye to the big buildings and the public transportation. Very, very sad.

We walked to the subway station about 8 blocks away, rode the 4 line about 40 minutes, caught the bus to the airport for about 30 minutes, and then I was off. Pretty nice of him to go with that whole way, huh?! He's just great. We said our goodbyes...hard goodbyes. I took my two flights back to Minneapolis. I made a countdown for Christmas when I get to see E again. I made a friend on the plane who awkwardly asked for my phone number and said he would take me salsa dancing next time I was in the city...I don't think he grasped the  concept of having a boyfriend well...but I just smiled and hoped my mom would be there waiting when the flight was over!

All in all, I had a magical time. It kinda felt like real life there...and now I'm back in fake life. Seems backwards no? But my room is welcoming me back, as are my wonderful friends here. Life is good. I am utterly blessed. And i smile and smile and smile and smile....:)
