Most of our time this last week was spent snuggling up to Newman who we were dog sitting. After he left, his absence was felt hard core. Despite a little pooping incident, he was seriously the coolest dog to have around EVER! Makes our home crave a pup friend that's for sure.
Sadly, Newman never stayed around too long on the bed. But every once and awhile we could get him to hang out for a bit, and then we would snuggle-abuse the crap outta him.
Each morning, I would get up at 6 to workout and let him out to tinkle, then I would have to lead him back up the stairs and he would sadly watch me leave. It was heartbreaking!
Look at dem paws!
Both of us would take the weirdest opportunities to sit with him and hang, we obviously need a dog someday.
Are his eyes open? you never know! John's mom didn't shave him just for us! She knew she would hear it if he wasn't curly for us. But he for sure got scraggly towards the end.
Date night to see Zootopia! A little too politically relevant for my taste, but still a great flick!
Chipotle after our date!
Took the sis to Ikea
Cousin sleepver Mexican night!
Margaritas! Along with my whole30 cocktail...juice + water + lime + coconut rim
We watched home videos and giggled so much
Seriously dude, why you gotta be so cute
Oh my heart!
Making breakfast with the cuzzys!
The weekend was weirdly warm enough for porch sits, and we took full advantage.
We went to the Mill for brunch with J's mom and man, it was pretty good! A really cute trendy place, that I didn't even know existed in my neighborhood.
Wild game with J! This was supposed to be a Christmas gift from my dad, but since he pretty much lives in Texas now, J filled in! They lost, which was a bummer. I've only ever gone when the win, ha!
Met moms and sis at Good Earth, as always, for dinner!
Then mom came over to giggle on the porch with me :)
Met my girlies at Eat Street Social for drinks and baby talk! EEEK! We have made dates once a month now, and we plan the next one each time. It really helps for holding us accountable for getting together!
