our little house | progression part 4

Not too much to report on this end, but I would love to keep track of the things we want to get done and little things I have done! But mostly, we're just soaking up the time there and loving it so much. I had a moment last weekend when it was beautiful outside (and omg daylight is so precious on the weekends in that house since it's rare for me to be there!), I had the doors open and lit a candle and had music playing and cleaned up to have some friends over...and I was SO content and proud and happy. It really is just such a blessing that we love it so much. Happy sigh...




to do
- sew curtains for main floor
- hang travel collage in basement
- replace shelf in office with table
- replace outlet covers in kitchen (did this but didn't like them, hence next item)
- buy and replace new outlet covers for kitchen
- fix outlet and cover by sink
- cut and re-grout corner of kitchen backsplash
- laundry room storage
- curtains for basement windows
- organize attic
- set up garage work shop (eeek! so excited)
- organize garage
- figure out previous owners stuff to throw out (they left paint and tile and crap)
- put doors on basement water meter closet
- fix uneven fridge
- fix uneven cabinet doors in kitchen (my bad but just haven't gotten to it)
- new door knob for hall closet
- blinds for office and bedroom
- tighten bathroom shelves and hooks
- motion sensor light for back door
- clean rain gutters in spring
- make table for behind couch
- paint dining room and living room doors (not sure about this quite yet)
- hang shelves in laundry room
- organize cabinet in basement by garage
- plant flowers in front flower boxes
- pillows for living room


Some things we don't have the resources or tools for, and though could probably take a stab at it, we might as well use my awesome family to walk us through

- fix leaky pipe in basement
- replace final kitchen outlet behind fridge(something I don't get but my dad says we need to do)
- figure out how to turn our water on hotter
