Ahhhhhhhh!!!! I miss updating this lil guy!!!! I'm so behind it's not even funny. Every day is consumed by happiness and puppy. Can't complain! But man am I behind in my hobbies!
Dunken is our PUPPY DOGGYYYYYYY. and we LOOOOOVE him. He is a stinker binker that's for sure, but holy crap, with the amount of love I feel for this shit head, I can't imagine what it must be like with an actual human baby! WEEE!!!!
Here are some random facts:
He's 11 weeks old today. He's super fluffy. His color is darker than we wanted, lighter than we expected, and he's perfect. We think it might get lighter as he ages? It's lighter towards his skin. His tail is weirdly long and skinny. The last time he had an pee accident was sunday (he had two in front of us cause he was hyper and being awful). The last and only poo accident was Monday morning, but that was totally my b. He's just learning how to go for walks and go to the bathroom on them in the morning. Which is good because our grass is browning at a rapid pace!!! He loves to crawl on your lap and chew on you. Or something if you can distract him. But mostly he's a cannibal and goes for your hands over and over. Today on our walk I think he was tired, I'm not sure but he basically like bear hugged my leg and I wanted to cry from cuteness. He's pretty good at fetching! But only with his mini hedgehogs it seems. He also sprints back and runs straight into my lab. He won't "drop", but we're working on it. Our friend gifted him turkey hearts but he literally goes bat shit crazy, so we have only given him a few and are taking a break, cause he's scary when he's sharky. He stays at home with j during the day, which is a learning curve! but j has been kenneling him more and I think it's helping. He likes his fake stick bone I just bought him (along with the other toys I spent $80 on LOL). He barks sometimes, when he wants attention or wants to chew you. His butt is fluffy and cute and the best thing. He gets confused when we play music from the Sonos sometimes and does his cute puppy cock of the head and runs in our laps. He free eats and is doing pretty well so far, makes pooping a little unpredictable, but he seems to kinda get the pooping out side thing pretty well. He doesn't haaate his kennel but doesn't love it. He gets in there when we point at night which is nice! He cries sometimes before bed and sometimes when I leave him with J sleeping in the morning but not too bad. I give him treats sometimes or PB in his kong. He just started reacting to his name and listening this week. Hallelujah! He's starting puppy training on june 8th. He might not need it, but we're going for it! For the first few weeks we could just let him roam outside when we took him out, but week two he got too brave and now we have a leash outside to tie him to. Right when he wakes up is my favorite thing in the world. Or when he greets me at the door. I'm obsessed with him and miss him all day long and can't wait to go home right now to see him!
