Today, I was happy as a clam when I woke up to BRIGHT BLUE SKIES peeking through the skylight. Especially after yesterdays blizzard!

Yeah, it was kind of wonderful.

Strollin' and smilin' through the park.

We got a little distracted by crepes and doggies in the park, but eventually we found our way to Starbucks so E could get a little reading done before we went to the Fuerza Bruta show that was pretty close to campus.

The show was really, really cool. It was so different from anything I have ever experienced. Really eccentric and different. Some highlights include, E getting smashed over the head with a styrofoam tray thing full of glitter and paper scrapes which we still found in his hair hours later, a thick clear plastic tarp with water on top that was inches above the crowd that the performers were splashing around on-and we could touch it and feel them moving, the end of the show when they cleared the "stage" and a waterfall of rain poured down in the middle of the crowd and we danced with the cast in the water (an explanation for the "drowned rat" look in the above photo). Overall, it was a super fun thing to experience, and I would have loved nothing more than to have shared it with that smilin' little bugger.
After the show, we walked (a little chiller now that we were wet) to meet up with an old friend of E's for a later dinner. A cute little diner, and good conversation. It was a joy!
