wednesday in NYC

I arrived at JFK airport around 10am to a smiling Mr. E waiting at the airport airtrain station. {A little bit wonderful to see him :) } The subway was a little funny, but eventually we got back to Brooklyn. A little later in the day we hiked out to Manhattan for some adventures!

First, we walked around Washington Square Park by NYU campus to ogle some dogs {E coined a new term--dogle--for this act}. It was beautiful out. The weather was absolutely wonderful! Which was obvious to everyone in the city since the lawns and benches were jam packed full of sun enjoyers.

Mr E found a lil boston pup--his fav

Personally, I like the bigger doggies doggy park better:)

The peeps were lovin the sun

Next, we got some pizza. MMMMMMMMM. Yep, I like. Especially since I have been eating "healthy" for a few weeks now...this was a nice treat.

That's not real...

We hopped on the tourist express--also known as the Staton Island Ferry. Super great, and free! I recommend it to anyone coming. In the pic above you can see the tiny little Statue of Liberty next to that hooded man.

The temperature was perfect, the breeze was perfect, the sunset was perfect, the guy next to me was perfect. It was just...well...perfect I suppose.
{Try and ignore that weird piece of hair on my right...dunno wtf that is...}

Waddup giiiiiiiiirl

Thank you, NYC.

Some other highlights...E and I had a nice little run-in with some homeless men in Brooklyn. The transaction went down like this:
Homeless man: "What I tell you about holdin' hands with dem pretty ladiez! Damn!"
E: "Sorry man {laughing}"
Homeless man: "Man, you makin' us jealous!" {mumbling more things I couldn't understand}

And we laughed the rest of the way to the subway.

AND I also sat on a bench in Battery Park and got slivers all up in my skirt.

But still a wonderful day:)

Until next time!
